Just to kick off the musical antics on a good note, we have been informed of some very good UK based hip-hop that caught our attention.Unique in his ability to not only consistently write innovative, inspiring and true hip hop lyrics but also complement them with his own individual productions using a mixture of live instruments and digital production methods, Skittles is set to have a big year in 2011.

July 2nd, 2011DUBSTEPPromos, Promos, Promos!! The Chronos crew just sent us a lil sneak peak of whats to come in the next few weeks and believe me, its got some swag. Badman Press kingpin DZ has teamed up with the Chronos family for a four track face melter, blending his exceptional production skills with that recognizable Chronos sound, I’ve been told this EP will have some Dubstep anthems along with some Drumstep slammers. If you all remember the “Farmville” EP they dropped a while back, which featured the sounds of F3tch, Getter, Devnik and Phear Phace. It landed them an astonishing 8 top ten spots on the Beatport Charts. DZ is a wizard when it comes to screaming synthlines and splintering sub-bass. All I can say is that this EP is pure crowd destroying gold, The tracks are already being rinsed out around the globe by heavy weights such as Downlink, Dr.Philth, Modestep and Eptic. Its set to hit the beatport shelfs on July 11th so mark your calendars and save some pocket change cause you don’t wanna miss out on this one.

June 23rd, 2011DUBSTEPI just checked in with our friend Hosta, he’s been pretty busy in the studio lately and told us about his new tune “End Of The World” definitely one to end the night with. Hosta explains how they came up with the idea for the track “Jodi and I were booked to play a warehouse rave in Edinburgh, big up’s to Scottish Bob and all the crew for that one!” He also said it was the same day the rapture was meant to go down so the three of them naturally chose the name “End Of The World” Hosta also informed me that Jodi and him will be releasing a FREE EP called 5AM witch is in the works of being finished, so keep your eyes and ears open ;] until then enjoy this number.

Here is the new single from Caspa it just hit the shelves and we picked up a copy for you!
Caspa refers to this track as “a cheeky one inspired by the Swedish House Mafia riff” from the song Miami to Ibiza “It’s my take on Dubpstep House” he says then goes on to explain that to get from his house to the studio he goes from Fulham to Waterloo.
The arrangement is tight and the beat is catchy I’m sure it will get dance floors moving this summer, that being said I think some of the purist Caspa fans might be disappointed with this one but give this track a listen and make up your own mind.
