Afters seeing these two groups perform on multiple occasions in the last two months it brings us great pleasure to present Bassmentality written and produced by Zeds Dead & The Killabits! If you saw Zeds at Shambhala this year you’ll know what I’m talking about when I say they know how to bring it! Wanna give a shout out to Biz and Sam of Killabits, was fortunate enough to party with them on Biz’s bday after they rocked the house at Fortune Sound Club a few weeks back. These guys are incredibly humble artists and I hope you enjoy their content as much as I have!

After seeing the happenings and hearing what sounded like an earlier cut of this track during his set on the Pagoda at Shambhala Music Festival 2011 were pleased to share this unsettling video by Tony Truand for Skrillex.
 

Bassheads!! It has been confirmed, the annual release of a new Bassnectar album is near. Titled Divergent Spectrum, it has been set to drop on August 2nd (just in time for Shambhala might I add.) There are a few 30 second clips on the official Bassnectar website along with his new tune UPSIDE DOWN. Although its only a radio edit, it gives us a hi-q taste of the 808 debauchery Mr.Nectar has been brewing for the past minute. Enjoy!

Bassnectar – Upside Down

Knowing Liquid Stranger, and his recent explosion on to the charts, we have no doubt that this tune will be one to hit playlists allover. Have a STRONG feeling that this bouncy dub will be heard full force at Shambhala this year. This track will be one to get those heads bobbing and them asses shaking. Can you handle it?

Warning Warning! Bass overload!! Its about time that one of the fastest blown up names in the Dubstep scene has started a mix series (a little overdue, the Shambhala mixes were way to far apart.) We all know Excision for his cut-throat basslines and mad punching sub-basslines. The launch of his new website up is commemorated with a new mix series entitled “X-Sessions” This mix is a plethora and should I say… an “All-Star” tracklist of the biggest bass one could roll up on a sound system dedicated to Dubstep (…think The Village at The Shambhala Music Festival.) Glancing at the tracklist will reveal all you need to know before even listening to it. Brace yourself… this mix has induced multiple bassface instances… at once!

With Shambhala only 71 days away im sure this is an early taste of whats to come on the PK Sound system. We do have to say that we love the fact he tossed the Dr.Dre mash-up into the swing of things.
