July 2nd, 2011DUBSTEPPromos, Promos, Promos!! The Chronos crew just sent us a lil sneak peak of whats to come in the next few weeks and believe me, its got some swag. Badman Press kingpin DZ has teamed up with the Chronos family for a four track face melter, blending his exceptional production skills with that recognizable Chronos sound, I’ve been told this EP will have some Dubstep anthems along with some Drumstep slammers. If you all remember the “Farmville” EP they dropped a while back, which featured the sounds of F3tch, Getter, Devnik and Phear Phace. It landed them an astonishing 8 top ten spots on the Beatport Charts. DZ is a wizard when it comes to screaming synthlines and splintering sub-bass. All I can say is that this EP is pure crowd destroying gold, The tracks are already being rinsed out around the globe by heavy weights such as Downlink, Dr.Philth, Modestep and Eptic. Its set to hit the beatport shelfs on July 11th so mark your calendars and save some pocket change cause you don’t wanna miss out on this one.

June 30th, 2011DUBSTEPBong has kept occupied in the lab, spending the last few months bubbling and brewing some homemade madness. The release of two new EP’s have finally come through Ultragore Recordings and Dubsaw Records, which we have a feeling will hail down mad playlistings worldwide. Recently known for his gritty evil melodic sounds, will tell you that this young Romanian producer has had a lot of influence from the metal scene… alot like the rest of the skilled producers launching off of the Ultragore imprint. This EP is full of catchy riffs and monstrous drops, guaranteed to have your neighbors skankin out on the dancefloor. The DB personal favorite is “Viral Infection” which contains some great samples circa 2002 video game movie “Resident Evil”. A few flagship snips come from original theme song produced by Marilyn Manson. “Blood Vessel” is another floor smasher with a nice melodic side to it as well, the strings and melodies in that one sound like Norwegian black metal. Do your self a favor and add these tracks to you collection and keep your eyes open for more of bongs work.
Stay Chill..

June 23rd, 2011DUBSTEPI just checked in with our friend Hosta, he’s been pretty busy in the studio lately and told us about his new tune “End Of The World” definitely one to end the night with. Hosta explains how they came up with the idea for the track “Jodi and I were booked to play a warehouse rave in Edinburgh, big up’s to Scottish Bob and all the crew for that one!” He also said it was the same day the rapture was meant to go down so the three of them naturally chose the name “End Of The World” Hosta also informed me that Jodi and him will be releasing a FREE EP called 5AM witch is in the works of being finished, so keep your eyes and ears open ;] until then enjoy this number.

June 14th, 2011DUBSTEPWatch out! This new EP from D-Jahsta is gonna penetrate your eardrums, and have your speakers on repeat for hours on end… It happend to us. I remember hearing a few of D-J’s tracks at the beginning of this year and to my surprise, the production has transformed 3 fold. Its amazing what kind of string a well mixed track can strike. Aside from the obvious, I love the use of multi-layered percussion. Coupled with gut wrenching synthlines, this whole release can be dubbed sealed with a Dubmonsters Stamp if Approval. “Slug Bass” tore through my walls like a resonant bell on crack and to top it off we rated it on wobble factor scale a full 10/10… not gonna lie, we kept it on repeat for quite some time. 2011 has brought us much good music, and this release from D-Jahsta is proof that it will continue on! Dont sleep and Stay Chill..
