Warning Warning! Bass overload!! Its about time that one of the fastest blown up names in the Dubstep scene has started a mix series (a little overdue, the Shambhala mixes were way to far apart.) We all know Excision for his cut-throat basslines and mad punching sub-basslines. The launch of his new website up is commemorated with a new mix series entitled “X-Sessions” This mix is a plethora and should I say… an “All-Star” tracklist of the biggest bass one could roll up on a sound system dedicated to Dubstep (…think The Village at The Shambhala Music Festival.) Glancing at the tracklist will reveal all you need to know before even listening to it. Brace yourself… this mix has induced multiple bassface instances… at once!

With Shambhala only 71 days away im sure this is an early taste of whats to come on the PK Sound system. We do have to say that we love the fact he tossed the Dr.Dre mash-up into the swing of things. We just got ahold of this new track, produced by Datsik and Bare. The rise of the heavy dubstep seems to make the world familiar with Kelwona native, Datsik. Known for his heavy hip hop style and hitech robotic sounds, hes also the youngest member of the Rottun crew. On the other end, we have Bare, a new upcoming contender from Los Angeles. Bare blew up over this past year and he’s been destroying dance floors with tracks like “Thugs In The Hood” and “Upper Deck” (also part of Sub Human recordings) Similar styles, sum together and make it louder (like always.) I think the two of them together are capable of yielding some potent music… so unleash those subs and let those walls resonate!
